Police say the wrecker slammed into a red sedan on the Southwest Freeway feeder road and Bissonnet. The wrecker driver told police that he couldn't stop after his brakes failed. He says they were apparently damaged in the flooding this past weekend.
Both victims had to go to hospitals.
