It happened about 8:20am Tuesday morning at a home along Gracechurch near Cheaney in northwest Harris County.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the grandmother was caring for a two-month-old child when three males broke through the back door and tied up the grandmother. The suspects ransacked the home. Deputies responding to a suspicious person call arrived and the suspects took off. All but one escaped.
"We were able to capture one of the fleeing suspects. We're currently investigating further, but it looks like we're gonna be able to get everybody into custody," said Lt. Jeff Stauber with the Harris Co. Sheriff's Office.
Deputies think two males and a female getaway driver got away.
