Man dies after being shot by suspects in car

HOUSTON It happened on Sagevally near Hughes. Authorities say a man was standing outside with friends when a car drove up and someone fired shots. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police say a short time later they chased after two suspects in that shooting. An officer hit one of the suspects with his patrol car after the pair abandoned their vehicle and ran.

That suspect was taken to the hospital. The second suspect is in jail.
