Considering that an adult ticket costs $11 and children tickets cost $7, this is a great way for families to save big. The next free day at the zoo is not until Columbus Day in October.

If you love roses and want to learn how to grow them, you'll want to head over to Cornelius Nursery for a free rose clinic. The one-hour session will teach gardeners how to properly care and grow roses. The clinic will be held tomorrow at 10:15am. There are two locations -- 2233 S. Voss and 1200 N. Dairy Ashford.
