An airplane flying from Germany to Turkey was diverted to a Greek airport after a threatening message was found written in one of its bathrooms, authorities said, but a search of the plane found nothing suspicious. The Turkish airliner, carrying 62 passengers and six crew members, was evacuated when it touched down in Thessaloniki, northern Greece.

Police said the English-language graffiti found in the bathroom included the words "will die today."

Police who searched the plane said they found nothing suspicious, and no one has been arrested.
