It will be held today 1pm to 4pm. More than 30 nonprofit organizations are scheduled to be at the United Way (50 Waugh Drive) to recruit talented individuals with college degrees that seek positions in fields including education, social services and employment.

Exhibitors will recruit for current and future positions as well as volunteer and internship opportunities. Many positions are funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Attendees and exhibitors can still register by visiting: Job seekers must pre-register by sending an email or contacting Ariana Campos at 713-773-6000 x140. Attendees must have an entry ticket to attend.

With the rise of Houston's unemployment rate to 8.5 percent SER Jobs For Progress- Houston is committed to helping save existing jobs and creating new employment opportunities by leveraging the ARRA funds.
