Family meets firefighting heroes

Shanay Smith and her children met the crew of Fire Station 19. On February 11, the crew responded to a fire in northeast Houston. The firefighters ran in and pulled Smith and her son and daughter out of the house.

Smith says she hugged the firefighters and thanked them for working quickly to save her family.
