Two young children were airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car in Brazoria County. Investigators tell us the children, both under two years old, were hit around 5pm Sunday at Morris and David in Pearland.

A DPS trooper on the scene told Eyewitness News that a 16-year-old was in a parked car in a driveway. That driver supposedly put the car in drive accidently and hit the 18-month-old girl and two-year-old girl who were sitting on stairs by the porch.

The 18-month-old had what appeared to be a broken right leg. The 2-year-old had head injuries. Both were taken by Life Flight to the hospital.

The trooper called the accident a fluke and said no charges will be filed.
