Lubbock sneaks past Copperheads

LUBBOCK, TX The Copperheads jumped to a 14-0 lead thanks to two early Renegade fumbles. Linebacker Marcus Bacon recovered a Kent fumble in the Lubbock end zone for Texas' first score. Defensive back/wide receiver Armar Watson recovered the second Lubbock fumble and then hauled in a 9-yard TD pass from Texas QB Rudy Carlton for the Copperheads' second score.
