LEAGUE CITY, TX (KTRK) -- On Tuesday at about 9:45pm, a League City homeowner in the 1500 block of Tahoe Court called 911 after returning home to find a strange man in his garage.

Police say the suspect left the garage, got into a black Lincoln MKS and drove through the neighborhood. The homeowner followed the suspect in his own vehicle a short distance before the suspect fired at least four rounds from a handgun at the homeowner.

League City police officers spotted the suspect vehicle, followed the suspect and observed the suspect throw items out of the vehicle. Police say a high risk traffic stop was conducted and the suspect was successfully arrested. The suspect was identified as Ryan Olmos, 22, of League City. Items recovered included a handgun and drugs.

Olmos is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence. Bonds have been set at $225,000. Additional charges are pending.
