Overturned big rig spills pipe across 610 North Loop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crews are expected to clear the scene of an 18-wheeler accident before rush hour begins.

A truck carrying pipe was headed westbound on 610 North Loop while exiting onto the North Freeway ramp and turned over.

Pipes were scattered across the freeway. The driver of a Navigator was transported for minor injuries after their vehicle was hit by some of the falling pipe.

The driver of the big rig was not injured.
