Day of the Dead exhibit at Lawndale Art Center

HOUSTON -- Dia de los Muertos is a traditional holiday that honors and celebrates the lives of family members and friends who have died. There are several exhibits around the Houston area, including the one at the The Lawndale Art Center.

The programs will help educate audiences and encourage dialogue about the rich Mexican-American heritage, as well as promote cultural awareness of this celebration of family, life and community.
