DRONE VIDEO: House flattened along San Jacinto River

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A casualty of this week's historic flooding is a home that has literally been on the edge.

Eyewitness News first told you about the house in Conroe last May.

A house on the water's edge collapsed this week into the San Jacinto River

The San Jacinto River and erosion caused the ground under it to give way.

This week, the house collapsed right into the river.

The woman who had been living in the home moved out long before the collapse.

The San Jacinto River is still well above flood stage.
