Hundreds of people participated in a walk Saturday morning at Hermann Square Park.
The walk was organized by the group Houston United.
Proceeds go to the Texas Line of Duty Death Task Force and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
Both organizations are helping the families of the fallen firefighters in last month's motel fire in Houston and the plant explosion in West.
