IAH contractors charged for stealing iPads, iPhones from checked luggage

HOUSTON

Investigators said they tracked the stolen property to Juan Gabriel Alvarenga and Abel Quezada.

Both men worked for a contractor at IAH.

According to court documents, the pair admitted to taking the iPads and iPhones from passengers in Terminal D, then selling the stolen goods on Craigslist. Records state the total loss for all listed stolen property was $1,860.

Alvarenga, 34, and Quezada, 24, are each charged with felony aggregate theft.
