After record rainfall on Tuesday and scattered showers on your Wednesday morning commute, drier and cooler air is settling into the region.
Look for plenty of sunshine, with highs in the low 70s this afternoon. Clear skies and near record lows overnight. Here are some of the records that are in jeopardy:
College Station: 50° in 1942
Bush Airport: 49° in 1890
Hobby Airport: 54° in 1976
Galveston: 57° in 1926
We stay cool for a couple of days, but warm back into the 80s by the weekend. No big storm system moving in at least through early next week.
