Court date for man who switched seats after deadly wreck

HOUSTON Rodney White is charged with two counts of manslaughter. Investigators say he was the one behind the wheel during a crash over Fourth of July weekend that killed two people.

Police say he put his fiancee in the driver's seat as she was still woozy from the wreck.

Charges were dropped against her when they noticed she was bruised on her right side from the passenger seatbelt. In fact, her seat belt burn was so bad it was visible in her mug shot.

White is charged with two counts of manslaughter. He could face two to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine in each case.
