Firefighters quickly contain blaze inside warehouse

Workers were evacuated from the building and one patient was treated by EMS crews at the scene of a warehouse fire

Firefighters were called to the scene of a one-alarm fire at a warehouse in southeast Houston at about 9:15am. The fire broke out inside a warehouse for Advanced Containment Systems, Inc. (ACSI) on S. Richey near Queens where workers were constructing a portable building. Somehow the flooring materials caught fire and filled a portion of the warehouse with smoke.

One person has been treated by EMS crews at the scene after suffering minor burns. Other workers were evacuated from the building. No other injuries have been reported.
