HS principal takes leave of absence

HOUSTON Mary Ann Simpson, Fort Bend ISD's Chief Communications Officer, told Eyewitness News that Mike McKie, Assistant Superintendent for High Schools, met with the Clements High School staff on Thursday to inform them that Principal Kevin Moran was on "leave of absence." Barbara James, a retired principal, will substitute for Mr. Moran during his absence.

On Friday a letter from McKie was sent home to parents informing them of the change.

Simpson added that the district does not comment on personnel issues.
