Mark Herman with the Harris County Precinct 4 office said, "He literally chased her down, physically grabbed her around the throat and drove her back to a waiting vehicle. Another occupant was in the vehicle and the two of them sped away with our victim."
The victim's mother managed to contact her daughter on a cell phone, who quickly explained where she was being held against her will. Police went to the home and found the girl, and took the ex-boyfriend into custody. The girl had injuries to her face, but was otherwise OK.
