There's a mandatory water restriction now in effect in Lake Jackson. The city is implementing its phase two water conservation plan because of heavy water use the last five days. That means even/odd day lawn watering is now mandatory and lawns should only be watered between 8pm and 10am.

Here is a list as it stands today.

The City of West University has requested that each resident voluntarily take certain conservation measures.

There is a mandatory restriction in the City of Conroe and The Woodlands.

The restriction is voluntary in Sugar Land, Pearland, Bayou Vista and La Marque. The cities of Tomball and League City added their names to the growing list.

In Tomball, residents were asked to water their lawns before 10am and after 8pm.
