UH added a walked in run in the third inning and three more in the fourth for the shutout win.
With the win they move to 36-5 overall this season and 13-1 in C-USA. Houston will next host Baylor on April 16 in a double-header set to begin at 3pm. Following the mid-week game, the Cougars will be on the road for two straight C-USA series at Tulsa (April 19-20) and UAB April 26-27).
