HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An updated storm report from the National Weather Service has a preliminary count of 29 confirmed tornadoes so far from Hurricane Harvey.

Officials are still investigating damage reports and expect future updates. At this point the total count of 29 includes those around southeast Texas.

Reports ranged from 2:18 p.m. Friday, August 25 to 12:13 p.m Sunday, August 27.

Damage reports were noted from Galveston to College Station, including downed fences, power lines and tree limbs. Significant damage to homes was reported in Sienna Plantation and Pecan Grove in Fort Bend County.
