HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Houston-inspired fashion line that cost the city nearly $500,000 is now on sale to the public, featuring $175 shirts and $400 dresses.

Earlier this year, ABC13 discovered that the Greater Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau paid $450,000 for a Houston-inspired clothing line from designer Vivienne Tam, whose debuted the line during New York Fashion Week 2016.

In addition to the designs, Visit Houston picked up the tab for an all-expense-paid trip to Houston for Tam and a DJ for the line's after party.

Now, Tam's Bayou City collection is for sale around the world through her website -- but it will cost you to show off your Houston pride.

T-shirts are going for $175, and dresses are up to $400.
