Odd Cookie Bakery: Sizably different and delicious

Penngrove, Calif. -- Located in the heart of downtown Penngrove, visitors will make a sweet discovery at Odd Cookie Bakery. A place where customers can enjoy more than 20 flavors of delicious cookies baked with the finest ingredients.

"There's a very special thing about cookies. Whether you're having a really good day and want to celebrate, or you're having a really bad day, like needing a pick-me-up and some comfort food. Like cookies are always there," owner Anna Rodriguez says.

Rodriguez's love of cookies dates back to her childhood memories of her grandmother.

"Whether you were happy or sad. Everything was answered with a peanut butter kiss cookie," Rodriguez says.

Whether it's her S'Moreo or Oat-Rageous cookie, Rodriguez's mission has always been to offer her customers unforgettable cookies.

"You're always going to find something very unique, something that you've never had before," regular customer Nathan says. "Very creative. The perfect blend of all the flavors and sweetness."

"Crunchy on the outside. Chewy on the inside," longtime customer Scott says. "I tried it out. Been here every Thursday ever since."

Rodriguez's cookies are not only big on flavor, but they are also just plain big.

"Standard cookie is about two and a half to three ounces," Rodriguez says. "Our cookies are six ounces, which is about a five-inch cookie."

Rodriguez has expanded her sweet treats to include Rice Krispies treats, brownies, and cupcakes on the weekend.

"Somebody actually put on a Yelp review that I was their happiness dealer," Rodriguez says with a smile. "It really does, like, warm my heart so much to be able to do that."
