HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Bad weather has hit hard at some major travel hubs across the US, meaning flight cancellations and delays for travelers in Houston.
"We were just hoping to be home and relax but now instead we're here," said Kevin Ribera, whose flight to Chicago was canceled. He won't be going home for another two days.
Many people slept in the airport overnight, while waiting to be rebooked.
But Matthew Cohen, who just turned 18 years old, looked the most upset. His flight to Toronto, where the legal drinking age is 18, was also canceled.
"I'm legal now in Toronto and I can't go back so it's just like, 'Ahhhh, I was kind of looking forward to that,'" he laughed.
