Waddle patrol: Fulshear officer wrangles ducklings to safety

FULSHEAR, Texas (KTRK) -- Earlier this week, an officer with the Fulshear Police Department encountered a pursuit like no other – some might say it was a quackdown!

On Monday, Fulshear PD shared the lighthearted video of an officer responding to a report of 10 “juveniles” wandering along the unfinished portion of the Westpark Tollway.

Turns out those juveniles were 10 ducklings who had gone the wrong way.

After a lengthy and exhausting pursuit, the department said all ducklings were safely taken into custody without incident or injury.

In its social media post, Fulshear PD shared that it appears the ducklings had apparently taken a wrong turn during their morning travels.

Since the rescue, the feathered fugitives were relocated to a more suitable home and given a stern warning about trespassing on tollways.
