Summer Creek routs Pasadena Memorial

PASADENA, TX -- It was over from the start.

Summer Creek forced a fumble the first play of the game, scored a touchdown the third play and rolled from there as the Bulldogs made their Class 6A debut with a 62-7 win over Pasadena Memorial at Turner Stadium on Thursday.

"I thought we played well," Summer Creek coach Brian Ford said. "I thought we were sharp. After the scrimmage against Deer Park last week, I didn't think we played very well last week. Tonight, we were a different team. It was good to get out and execute a little better."
