About 6,500 athletes from 165 countries marched into the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday to open the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
The athletes will participate in 25 sports over nine days, including competitions in aquatics, gymnastics, track and field, basketball, football (soccer) and table tennis.
