Meet Hallie Vanderhider

Hallie Vanderhider is a Managing Director with SFC Energy Partners, focused on the oil and gas industry. She began her career in public accounting and received a B.B.A. in Accounting from UT. Hallie's philanthropic focus centers on education and the arts. She is the only Longhorn to sit on the Advisory Board for the Mays Business School at A&M and has endowed a Chair in the Accounting College. In honor of her son's twin brother, Matthew, Hallie created a perpetual scholarship for students. She has served on the Engineering Advisory Council for the Houston Community College/UT Tyler Engineering program and as a mentor for SURGE, a technology accelerator group. Her board memberships include The Lupus Foundation, Houston Holocaust Museum, Alexis De Tocqueville Society, TEACH and Houston Ballet where she will chair the 2018 Ball. Hallie co-chaired the 2016 Memorial Hermann luncheon and is the 2017 Honoree. She is an Honoree for Recipe for Success and Outstanding Woman in Finance in 2017, and was Texas Executive Woman of the Year in 2012. As a single mother for 25 years, Hallie has enjoyed watching her son, Michael, grow and mature. She considers him her greatest accomplishment in life.
