Soccer snafu: Sprinklers go off mid-match at BBVA Compass Stadium
Sprinklers momentarily interrupted the Guyana-Trinidad & Tobago match at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's a high-stakes game for two women's soccer teams hoping to make it to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this summer. But an unexpected twist during Tuesday night's match between Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago at Houston's BBVA Compass Stadium brought a bit of comic relief to tense fans watching the game.

The soccer field's sprinkler system unexpectedly came on as the two teams faced off, and the incident was caught on video. Players were forced to stop playing until someone turned it back off.

The two teams are participating in the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship for a chance to make it to this year's Olympics.

The game ended with Trinidad & Tobago's beating Guyana 5-1.
