Rick Perry fresh from meeting with Trump headed to "Dancing with the Stars"

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Tonight is the season finale of "Dancing with the Stars," and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry will be in Los Angeles for the event.

It's quite a shift from his gig on Monday -- he was in New York City to visit with President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower and talk about a potential role in the Trump administration.

On the "Dancing with the Stars" finale, he'll join in on a reunion opening number with all the season's couples, before the champion is crowned.
