Fire breaks out on west Houston restaurant patio

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Fire officials are investigating how a fire started on the patio of a restaurant in west Houston.

Two employees were working late at the restaurant on Foutainview and Fairdale. They noticed the fire on the patio when they were leaving and quickly put out some of the flames with a fire extinguisher.

There was also a gas can on fire nearby.

Firefighters were able to get the remainder of the fire out that left minor damage.
