A parking garage and auditorium facility were added around 2007. The parking garage was demolished this week after the sale. Parts of the auditorium were being torn down as well.

The property was sold after three years on the market to Spear Street Capital and Transwestern Development Co.

Plans for the site aren't being revealed just yet, a spokesperson said.

ExxonMobil moved its facility to Spring.

The site was an oil and gas hub for years, with buildings immediately surrounding it once filled with industry tenants. All have since moved to other areas, including the nearby Greenway Plaza.

The buildings immediately south of the complex have been repurposed or demolished within the last 15 years to make room for apartment complexes.
