Passengers help man propose to girlfriend
The proposal took place in the Kansas City Airport

KANSAS CITY, MO (KTRK) -- Guys are always coming up with cool ways to propose to their girlfriends and one man used total strangers at the airport to help him out.

The South African man had passengers on his flight give his fiance a flower as they each got off the plane in Kansas City. The boyfriend then handed her a bouquet and proposed.

And yes, his girlfriend did say yes.

"I've been planning this since like January," said groom-to-be George Erasmus. "So it's been a long wait. It's hard to keep secrets, so I was excited."

"I'm overwhelmed. I'm shaking. I did not expect this at all," said newly-engaged Ashley Kracht.

The couple met when the bride to be was doing missionary work in South Africa.
