Woman hospitalized after domestic dispute onboard a METRO bus in Houston's southside: METRO police

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a woman was shot onboard a METRO bus in Houston's southside on Monday, according to METRO police.

METRO police said that authorities responded to an incident involving a firearm discharge aboard a METRO bus near the South Loop East and Cullen Boulevard on Route 29.

According to preliminary information, METRO police said the incident was an escalated domestic dispute involving a male suspect and a woman. The woman, who was shot in the leg, was later taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
