HOUSTON (KTRK) -- HISD HIPPY Coordinator, Neysa Gavion, and HISD HIPPY Home Instructor, Claudia Gutierrez discuss the Houston Independent School District's program to provide home instruction for preschool children.

The idea behind the program is to send HISD instructors into the homes of students and teach their parents how to become better educational role models for their young children - especially in reading and math.
