Man injured after being shot during altercation at medical center in Tomball, police say

TOMBALL, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspected gunman is on the run after police say he shot another man at a medical center in Tomball on Wednesday.

The Tomball Police Department said officers responded to the shooting at 13406 Medical Complex Drive at about 11:30 a.m.

According to officers, two men were verbally fighting in the parking lot when one of them took out a gun and shot the other. The alleged shooter took off, Tomball PD added.

Police said the man who was shot is expected to be OK.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
