The teacher has since been released on bond, but records show this isn't the first time she's charged for assaulting someone.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A teacher from Aldine ISD is accused of hitting a student during a fight at G.W. Carver High School in January, according to court documents.
Court documents obtained by Eyewitness News say Jacenta Green was seen on campus surveillance filming a student as she walked toward the cafeteria. The records state that Green and the student exchanged words before Green's daughter, who also attends Carver High, approached.
Investigators said that at that point, Green put the student, a girl under 15, in a headlock, and then she and her daughter began hitting her.
A video shared by a student showed that the fight lasted at least 90 seconds. During the fight, records say Green picked up a chair and acted as if she was going to throw it at the teen.
Court records state that the victim's mother took her to urgent care for pain in her head, neck, and back. The records also say Green left the campus without making a statement.
The records show that charges were filed against Green 10 days later.
Aldine ISD provided the following statement to Eyewitness News:

The district immediately placed the teacher on administrative leave and notified local law enforcement and the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
We are cooperating fully with the Harris County District Attorney's Office and local law enforcement throughout their investigation.
