Taylor Swift releases new original song for 'Toy Story 5'

Taylor Swift's new original song for "Toy Story 5" is here.

The music superstar shared the song, titled "I Knew It, I Knew You," on social media Friday alongside a throwback video of herself marching in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat as a young girl.

"Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once," Swift captioned the video. "And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond."

Swift also revealed that she collaborated with singer-songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff on the song, writing, "We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods."

"Toy Story 5," a Disney and Pixar film, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Friday, June 19.

The movie features the iconic toys Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and Jessie (Joan Cusack) coming face-to-face with new nemesis Lilypad (Greta Lee), a frog-shaped tablet.

Along with Swift, another musical artist joining the film is Bad Bunny, who plays the role of Pizza with Sunglasses.

Swift's involvement in "Toy Story 5" was confirmed by the "Shake It Off" singer in a June 1 post on social media.

The announcement followed a series of clues that captured fans' excitement, including "Toy Story" themed billboards with the letters "TS" on them and 13 clouds and a "Toy Story"-themed countdown on Swift's official website.

"Toy Story 5" is directed by Andrew Stanton, who previously helmed Disney and Pixar's "Finding Nemo," "WALL-E" and "Finding Dory."

Disney is the parent company of ABC News and Pixar.
