Suspect barricaded at west Houston apartment complex, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Law enforecment officers say they're responding to a barricaded suspect in west Houston on Tuesday.

The Houston Police Department confirmed the incident is unfolding near Ashford Point and Synott.

SkyEye flew over the active scene, showing heavy law enforecement presence surrounding an apartment complex.

It's unclear what led officers to the location or the barricaded suspect.
