Spring Branch ISD board votes to fire teacher accused of possessing child porn

SPRING BRANCH, Texas (KTRK) -- Spring Branch ISD's Board of Trustees voted for fire a teacher accused of possessing child pornography.

Chandler Price, a former Northbrook Middle School teacher has been on administrative leave since he was first arrested in May.

According to court records, Price did not just possess the material but was actively communicating with a co-defendant in Ohio to trade illicit images.

The investigation revealed that some of the images in Price's possession featured children under the age of 10, with some victims appearing to be between 5 and 8 years old.

On Monday, the board voted unanimously to terminate Price's contract without pay.
