Shooter at large after killing 1 man, injuring another during argument in NW Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One man is dead, and another is in the hospital after a shooting on Friday night in northwest Houston, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened on the 8600 block of Pitner Road near Hollister Road.

Investigators said the victims and the suspect were possibly hanging out before an argument started.

HPD said the victims were trying to leave the argument before the shooter opened fire.

Officers said they are still looking for the suspected shooter.
