FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Officials say an 18-wheeler wreck led to heavy delays for drivers along SH-36 Thursday morning.
The Fort Bend County Pct. 1 Constable's Office said a head-on collision involving an 18-wheeler closed the highway at Randon Dyer.
As of 1:45 p.m., deputies said the roadway was reopened.
Officials said a sedan and the flatbed were going in opposite ways on the highway when the sedan left its lane and hit the flatbed.
According to the constable's office, one person was flown to the hospital and another was taken by ambulance.
SkyEye flew over the scene, where a flatbed work truck could be seen in the bushes, as well as a passenger car with heavy damage.
The Fort Bend County Fire Marshal's Office said its Hazmat response team assisted the Rosenberg and Orchard fire departments as well as the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.
