San Antonio man reels in 800-pound tiger shark

PORT ARANSAS, TX (KTRK) -- A man in San Antonio has quite the tale to tell after his latest fishing trip to Port Aransas.

After a seven-hour long battle on Saturday, Ryan Springs reeled in a 12-foot long, 809-pound tiger shark.

Springs kept the shark's jaw but gave the meat away to friends, family and a homeless shelter.
