Oasis bandmates and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher walked the carpets at two premieres this past weekend to celebrate "Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger."

The documentary gives audiences unprecedented access backstage and onstage as the brothers embark on their 2025 reunion tour. It's also the first time in 20 years the brothers give a joint interview.

At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the documentary received an eight-minute ovation.

Creator and writer Steven Knight said he believes the connection with the Gallaghers starts with the music.

"Music has its own way of directly entering people's souls and their hearts. That's a mysterious thing that can't be explained. The poetry of the songs, I think, I get the feeling as a writer...that when they were written, Noel didn't sit down and go, I'm going to write a song about this, about this subject. It's almost like a radio receiving these things and the words come," Knight said at a press conference at the Venice Film Festival. "People all over the world will interpret the lines themselves and feel, a lot of the people that we've spoken to felt that that song was about them and about their relationship. So that, I think, is pretty unique."
