New segment of Grand Parkway open

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Grand Parkway will now connect I-45 and Highway 59, beginning Tuesday.

For all of those traveling across Northeast and Montgomery counties.

The newest segment of the Grand Parkway, Segment G, will stretch 14.8 miles.

TxDOT will be providing a toll-free use of this stretch prior to tolling, which is set to begin on Monday, April 4.
