HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home and shoving his wife last week, according to court documents.

Documents said that Justin Holcombe was arrested on April 19 after it was reported that he kicked in the door of his wife's home and then proceeded to grab and "forcibly move" her.

Officials said Holcombe admitted to kicking down the door.

In response, HCSO issued a statement to ABC13 stating that Holcombe was placed on administrative leave while the investigation continued.

Holcombe had been with the department for about eight years and worked the night patrol unit in District 4, the sheriff's office confirmed.

His bond was set at $50,000, and he was charged with burglary, court records confirm.
