Man hospitalized after being stabbed in east Harris County, sheriff's office says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is in the hospital after being stabbed in east Harris County on Tuesday, according to deputies.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it responded at about 9 a.m. to the 14100 block of Renault Street.

Deputies said they received reports from a 28-year-old man saying he had been stabbed in the back.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he's expected to be OK, a detective told ABC13 at the scene.

HCSO said a witness reported the stabbing victim was arguing with someone before the incident. The relationship between them is unclear.

According to deputies, the stabbing victim was not being cooperative with investigators.
