Man charged after attacking people with 'high-powered' water guns: HPD

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is facing charges after he allegedly posted videos of himself soaking people with "high-powered" water guns.

On Thursday, the Houston Police Department shared on social media that 34-year-old Christopher Cayce is charged with two counts of assault with bodily injury.

In videos posted on a Facebook page, which HPD confirmed is associated with the arrest, several people can be seen being targeted near bus stops or while walking, getting sprayed in the face or soaked while they are sleeping.

HPD said some of the victims included people who have disabilities or are homeless.

From the videos, it appears the people were targeted in Midtown and along Bissonnet, but likely in other locations.

The videos have garnered thousands of likes, but some say it's cruel behavior.

As of Friday morning, Cayce has posted bond, but online records show he is still in custody.
